Greenwood, IN — The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced Wednesday the 2025-26 Academic All-America women's basketball teams for NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA with Hawks graduate guard/forward Brianna Fitzgerald named to the CSC Women's Basketball Division III third team.
 
Fitzgerald was honored among 14 others from Division III across three teams. She was joined on third team alongside Dennison's Abby Cooch, Johns Hopkins' Macie Feldman, Washington University's Lexy Harris and Southern Virginia's Abigail Snyder.
 
Fitzgerald came back for a sixth year after missing last season with a knee injury. She pursued a second master's in strategic communicators. Also named to the CSC All-District Team, she was a Hawks Academic Honor Roll recipient in the fall.
 
On the court, Fitzgerald proved herself as one of the best in the country, as she was named to her third D3Hoops.com All-America and first out-right WBCA All-America honor, becoming the first Hawk to do so.
 
She finished this past season leading to the team in virtually every statistical category, while setting single season program records in steals (96), while finishing second in single season program history in points (525) — only behind her own record of 545 from the 2023-24 season — seventh in rebounds (258), 10th in assists (110) and 11th in blocks (37).
 
After posting illustrious numbers, a myriad of accolades followed, including D3Hoops.com All-Region III Most Outstanding Player of the Year, SUNYAC Player and Defensive Player of the Year, SUNYAC Tournament MVP and was a Jostens Trophy Finalist. She caps a legendary career with another milestone, becoming the program's first CSC Academic All-American select.
