Box Score 2 BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The State University of New York at New Paltz women's volleyball team remained unbeaten in conference play on Saturday during the second round of State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Pool Play at The College at Brockport's Jim and John Vlogianitis Gymnasium, defeating host Brockport and SUNY Plattsburgh.
New Paltz beat Brockport, 3-0 (25-14, 25-20, 25-18), before topping Plattsburgh, 3-0 (25-10, 25-10, 25-15).
The Hawks rise to 20-4 overall (6-0 SUNYAC) and next travel to Pomona, N.J., for the Richard Stockton Osprey Classic, which runs from Friday-Saturday, Oct. 17-18. Brockport falls to 14-7 overall (3-3 SUNYAC) and hosts St. John Fisher College on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. Plattsburgh drops to 4-12 overall (0-6 SUNYAC) and competes at the Clarkson Golden Knight Invitational next from Friday-Saturday, Oct. 17-18.
New Paltz 3, Brockport 0The Hawks hit at a .283 clip against the Golden Eagles and also played well defensively with six total team blocks and 59 digs.

Morgan Roessler (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) tallied three blocks.
New Paltz 3, Plattsburgh 0All 15 New Paltz student-athletes saw at least one set of action against Plattsburgh, and the Hawks posted dominant figures both offensively and defensively. New Paltz hit at a .388 clip for the match and floored 11 service aces, while the defense finished with 54 digs and 10 total team blocks.
Sophomore outside hitter
Katy Braddon (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) keyed the Hawk attack with seven kills, while Zwickl doled out 34 assists and landed four service aces. Herbst defended 18 digs to pace the back row defensively.
