NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - The State University of New York at New Paltz men's soccer team will be in search of its first State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) win this weekend, traveling to SUNY Geneseo and The College at Brockport from Friday-Saturday, Oct. 3-4. The Hawks take on Geneseo on Friday at 4 p.m. and Brockport on Saturday at 1 p.m.
RECORDS: The Hawks are 3-5-1, 0-1-1 SUNYAC... The Knights are 5-4-1, 1-1-0 SUNYAC... The Golden Eagles are 5-0-4, 1-0-1 SUNYAC.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS (3-5-1, 0-1-1 SUNYAC):The Hawks are looking for their first conference win of the season after falling to SUNY Cortland and drawing with SUNY Oswego last weekend... New Paltz is searching for its first away victory of the year as well... The Hawks are looking to snap a four-match winless skid... New Paltz is seeking its first regular-season win against Brockport since 2007, but the Hawks did top Brockport in the quarterfinal round of the SUNYAC Tournament in 2012... Junior forward
Jason Gonzalez ranks in the top 10 of several offensive categories within the SUNYAC including shots (26), shots per game (2.89), points (10), points per game (1.11), goals (4) and goals per game (.444).

The Knights are seeking their first SUNYAC postseason appearance since 2012 when the team earned the No. 5 seed... Junior goalkeeper Logan Calvey ranks fifth in the SUNYAC in saves (39), saves per game (3.90) and shutouts per game (.30).
STATISTICAL LEADERS:Junior forward Stanley Egbuchulam leads the team with five points... Egbuchulam and junior midfielder Jaisen Clark both have a team-best two goals... Twenty different players have recorded a point for the Knights this year... Senior midfielder Connor Beisner has registered a team-high two assists... Calvey is 5-4-1 with a GAA of 1.13, a .780 save percentage, 39 saves and three shutouts.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES (5-0-4, 1-0-1 SUNYAC): Brockport is ranked No. 25 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Continental Tire National Top-25 Poll... The Golden Eagles are unbeaten in their last 13 regular-season games... Brockport and SUNY Oneonta are the lone teams in the conference without a loss... The Golden Eagles have played seven overtime matches... Brockport has earned three SUNYAC Player of the Week (POW) honors this season, with junior forward Peter DiLorenzo receiving the Offensive POW award twice and junior goalkeeper Casey Sullivan accepting the Defensive POW once... DiLorenzo ranks second in the SUNYAC in shots (39), shots per game (4.33) and game-wining goals (3).
