NEW PALTZ, N.Y – After defeating Mount Saint Mary College, 3-0, the State University of New York at New Paltz women's soccer team will travel to Schenectady, N.Y., to take on No. 12 Union College on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m.
RECORDS: The Hawks boast a 6-1 record, suffering their first defeat last Friday against Bard College... The Union Dutchwomen enter the contest at an undefeated 5-0.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS (6-1): New Paltz bounced back from their first defeat of the season, a 2-1 home loss to Bard, by beating Mount Saint Mary College, 3-0, in an away contest… Sophomore midfielder Skye Kayler and senior midfielder

TEAM STATISTICS: The Hawks have outscored opponents, 21-3, outshot them, 185-47, and hold the advantage in corners, 36-17... New Paltz is averaging three goals a game.
SCOUTING THE DUTCHWOMEN (5-0): Union is listed in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll ranked at No. 12, the first time being ranked since 2012… The Dutchwomen continued their undefeated season after a 1-0 win at St. John Fisher College on Saturday… Senior midfielder Whitney Bickford tallied the game's lone goal while also adding six shots… Liberty League Defensive Performer of the Week senior goalkeeper Allison Brustowicz recorded her third consecutive shutout.
STATISTICAL LEADERS: Freshman forward Katie Monahan and freshman forward Emily Dahlstrom lead the team with two goals apiece, followed by three players with a goal each… Senior midfielders Whitney Bickford and Stacey Sylvetsky each have two assists, followed by three players with one each... Senior goalkeeper Allison Brustowicz has played all 360 minutes and has made 22 saves with a .917 save percentage.
