Meet ResultsNEW PALTZ, N.Y. – The State University of New York at New Paltz men's swimming team dropped a 152.5-109.5 decision to Ramapo College on Saturday afternoon in its 2015-16 home opener at Elting Pool.
Junior
Rob Cahn (Bellmore, N.Y./John F. Kennedy) captured two of the Hawks' three individual event victories, winning the 1,000 freestyle (10:33.00) before taking the 500 freestyle (5:04.75) out of lane two. Cahn also was a double-event winner last night in a win against Vassar College.
New Paltz falls to 1-1 on the season with the loss and next competes at the NYU Invitational from Friday-Saturday, Nov. 6-7, at New York University. Ramapo rises to 3-0 with the victory and visits The College of New Jersey next on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 1 p.m.

Will Koenig (Highland, Calif./Redlands East Valley) won an individual event, leading a one-two New Paltz finish in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.51.

Second-place finishes came from Lindgren in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.06) and the 200 breaststroke (2:22.80), Kowalsky in the 50 freestyle (22.66), Koenig in the 100 freestyle (50.34), sophomore
Marc Piliero (Peekskill, N.Y./Peekskill) in the 200 backstroke (2:07.60) and Celecki in the 500 freestyle (5:08.92).
