MAHWAH, N.J. - Senior outside hitter Morgan Roessler (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) recorded her 1,000th career kill on Saturday in the final day of the Ramapo Roadrunner Invite as the State University of New York at New Paltz women's volleyball team split with Hunter (W, 3-0) while falling to host Ramapo (L, 0-3).

The Hawks move to 6-7 overall and will prepare for the first State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Pool Play weekend at SUNY Potsdam from Sept. 23-24. 

Roessler becomes just the ninth student-athlete in program history to eclipse the 1,000 kill plateau.
