BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The State University of New York at New Paltz men's soccer squad fell at Brockport 1-0 on Friday afternoon in SUNYAC action at Bob Boozer Field.
The Hawks (4-2-4, 1-2-0 SUNYAC) managed to outshoot the Golden Eagles (2-5-1, 1-2-0 SUNYAC) 10-7 during the match, including nine shots in the first half.
The Golden Eagles notched the contest's lone goal in the 22
nd minute, which stood for the duration of the match.

John Guzzo (Carle Place, NY/Carle Place) made three saves in the cage for the Hawks. New Paltz was a bit too anxious on the offensive end, getting called for eight offside penalties.
New Paltz will look to recover tomorrow and earn valuable SUNYAC points at SUNY Geneseo tomorrow at 1 p.m. The Knights fell to SUNY Oneonta 3-1 on Friday afternoon.
