Skye Kaler (Charlton, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) notched the lone goal in the State University of New York at New Paltz women's soccer team's 2-1 loss to State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) foe The College at Brockport on Friday afternoon.
Kaler scored in the third minute of game play as she dodged the Brockport defense to send the ball to the back of the net off of a feed from freshman midfielder
Mikayla Pugliese (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa), putting New Paltz up 1-0.
The Golden Eagles notched the equalizer in the 42
nd minute off of a goal by senior midfielder Kaitlyn Neidermeier before senior midfielder Christina Leonardo scored the game winner in the 67th minute off of an assist from senior midfielder Stefanie Drago.
Brockport outshot the Hawks, 12-10, while New Paltz held a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Drago led the Brockport attack with five shots while Leonardo and freshman midfielder Maddie Siclare added two shots each. Senior goalie Daniele Ogrodowski had six saves in goal for the Golden Eagles.
The Hawks (1-9-2, 0-3-0 SUNYAC) continue SUNYAC play tomorrow when they host SUNY Geneseo at the South Turf Field tomorrow at 1 p.m. Brockport (5-2-1, 2-1-0 SUNYAC) travels to SUNY Oneonta tomorrow for a 1 p.m. contest.
