Cortland, NY – The State University of New York at New Paltz baseball team single nine-inning game Friday against SUNY Cortland, originally schedule for a 3 p.m. start, was moved up to a 1 p.m. start due to pending weather conditions later in the afternoon.
The Hawks (10-11 overall, 2-7 SUNYAC) kick off a three-game series against the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) perennial power, starting with a single game Friday and a double-header Saturday at Robert H. Wallace Field, which is slated to begin at noon.
SUNY New Paltz is coming off its first SUNYAC series win against The College at Brockport last weekend, and hope to knock off the Red Dragons (19-9-1, 9-0) to keep playoff hopes alive and thriving.
