New Paltz, NY – The State University of New York at New Paltz softball team's double-header against Purchase College was moved to Wednesday due to pending rain.
The Hawks (16-7 overall, 5-3 conference) were originally slated to take on the Panthers (7-13, 4-6) Tuesday at 3 p.m. on Mary Gray Deanne Field, but in anticipation of a rain storm set to hit during game time, the contests were moved to Wednesday starting at 3 p.m.
SUNY New Paltz has won 5-of-8 at home and overall has won seven of its last 10 games. The Hawks are coming off a pair of State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) series splits against Oswego State and SUNY Cortland.
