New Paltz, NY – As of Friday, March 13 at 6 p.m. the State University of New York at New Paltz Athletics, Wellness and Recreation Department announced the closure of the Athletic Wellness Center, Elting Gym, Elting Pool and all athletic facilities until March 30 pending new information.

Additionally, all current winter and spring sports seasons were canceled, which includes men's volleyball, men's and women's lacrosse, baseball, softball, tennis and equestrian.

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, plans following the extended spring break period March 30 continues to be a fluid situation and are subject to change as more information becomes available. If and when there are follow-up announcements, information will be updated and posted as soon as possible.
