Syracuse, NY — The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) released its weekly awards Tuesday with Hawks junior
Kenneth Roby earning SUNYAC Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week honors.
The weekly award is the first for Roby and a well-deserved honor after his performance this past week.
Roby opened his junior season by leading the Hawks to a 3-0 win against Union in just his third career start after recording his first career hat-trick. His hot streak continued later in the week when he put away two of SUNY New Paltz's four goals in the 4-0 win against Drew University. The victory allowed the Hawks to earn third in the Drew Fall Festival, and left Roby with 10 points in just three games.
Roby heads into Wednesday's game against visiting US Merchant Marine Academy leading the team in goals, and with a perfect shot on goal percentage.
