Binghamton, NY — The State University of New York at New Paltz women's tennis team was on the road for the third consecutive day at the Binghamton Tennis Center. The Hawks took a 9-0 victory over the Golden Eagles of The College at Brockport for its fourth straight win to wrap up the fall season unbeaten in SUNYAC play. SUNY New Paltz claimed the top seed in the SUNYAC playoffs this spring.
"A very strong all around performance sees us finish the regular season undefeated for the fifth year running." said Hawks coach Rob Bruley. "Both our doubles and singles teams played with a lot of confidence which we can take into our spring season"
SUNY New Paltz will be on hiatus until Monday, March 13 for the start of its spring season in Florida over spring break. The Hawks closed out the fall with a record of 7-1 overall, 7-0 in conference play.
