Syracuse, NY — The State University of New York Athletic Conference announced its weekly winners Tuesday with Hawks junior forward
Gaby Treble earning women's soccer offensive player of the week honors.
Treble, named to her second conference weekly award, had another dominant weekend for SUNY New Paltz. She led the team with three goals, scoring two in a 5-0 rout of Potsdam Wednesday on three shots for a .667 shot-on-goal percentage before netting another against Brockport Saturday. The goal against the Golden Eagles proved critical in what ended as a 2-2 tie. Treble registered two shots in the game for a .500 shot-on-goal percentage in 67 minutes of action.
Treble, along with teammate
Rachel Eisert, are one goal shy of tying the single-season program record for goals (11) as the junior continues a career season for the Hawks.
SUNY New Paltz returns home Wednesday, hosting rival SUNY Oneonta on South Turf Field at 4 p.m.
