Cortland, NY — The State University of New York at New Paltz women's tennis team was on the road again today against SUNY Cortland. The Hawks picked up their third consecutive victory of the season defeating the host Red Dragons 7-1.
"It was a really tough match up at Cortland with the score not really showing how we had to take our game to the next level to achieve a 7-2 win. As I said to the team there are times when we can't always play our best tennis, but we have to find a way to win! Cortland came with a game plan, and it took us a while to figure out how to get back into that winning mode. I was very pleased how we battled today and not let our frustrations get the better of us," said Coach Rob Bruley.

The Hawks will return on September 23, when they play host for the SUNY New Paltz Tournament. The matches will commence on the North Tennis Courts at 10:00 AM.
