Gabriel earned her win for the blue and orange with two 6-2 sets.
"[It was] a convincing way to follow up our win in conference on Wednesday with a solid all-around performance in singles and doubles [and] I like the way our doubles teams are coming together," said Head Coach Rob Burley. "[I am] really pleased for Justine who handle her match in difficult circumstances coming away with a 6-1 and 6-4 victory."
The Hawks are back in action Saturday at the second part of the New Paltz Tournament.
