SUNY New Paltz, which finished last season 16-13 overall and 6-3 in the SUNYAC will face six regionally ranked opponents from last year, including non-conference matches against Hartwick, Stevens, Montclair and Misericordia with league rivals Cortland and Buffalo State both landing in the top 7 of Region III last year.

The Hawks begin the year in Pennsylvania, competing in the Lycoming Tournament Aug. 29-30 against hosting Lycoming College and University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg on Friday before ending with Penn State Hazleton on Saturday. It will be the first time SUNY New Paltz will play all three programs.

Following a trip west, the Hawks are in the Hawk Center for the first time on the year hosting the annual Hawks Invitational. Hosting Sage College, Mount Saint Mary's College and Union College, SUNY New Paltz headlines the two-day tournament starting Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. against the Knights. The tournament resumes the next morning on Saturday, Sept. 6 with the Hawks facing the Gators, followed by a match between Union and MSMC with the Knights taking on Sage before SUNY New Paltz closes out the Invite at 5:45 p.m. against Union. All matches will be played on the main court in the Hawk Center.

The Hawks go on a road trip for five-straight games away from the Hawk Center, starting with a non-conference mid-week match against Western Connecticut State Sept. 10. That weekend they'll compete against Hartwick and Williams hosted by Union, before entering a tri-match Sept. 20 against Misericordia and William Paterson University.

SUNY New Paltz hosts its second tournament of September in the New Paltz Challenge. The Hawks Center will play host to seven matches over the course of two days on Friday, Sept. 26 and Saturday, Sept. 27. Three matches begin Friday starting with SUNY New Paltz against Kean at 3 p.m. with another match at 5:15 p.m. following between Mt. The Hawks open up conference play on the road at the start of October taking on Oswego at 6 p.m. and Canton at 1 p.m. on Oct. 3-4, respectively. Last season, SUNY New Paltz earned wins over both programs with their match against the Lakers going into five sets which ultimately helped determine playoff seeding. The only regular season SUNYAC losses came against defending SUNYAC Champions Cortland, Buffalo State and Morrisville.

Fittingly, SUNY New Paltz resumes SUNYAC play against two of those programs hosting the Mustangs and the Red Dragons in the Hawk Center Oct. 10-11, respectively. It stays home the following weekend, going up against Potsdam and Plattsburgh before facing Oneonta for a mid-week game at 5 p.m. on Oct. 22 in Dewar Arena.

The Hawks' final regular season home games of the season are on Oct. 25, as they host two non-conference programs in Montclair State and Clark University at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. with the two teams competing against each other in the middle match.

They then end the season with four straight road matches, going to Western New York to take on Fredonia and Buffalo State Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, respectively, before concluding with Vassar Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. and Stevens Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.
