SUNY New Paltz Women’s Volleyball Announces Incoming Recruiting Class for the 2025 Season

New Paltz, NY — The State University of New York New Paltz women's volleyball team announced its incoming class for the 2025 season Monday.

The Hawks are coming off their 20th straight SUNYAC Tournament appearance, earning a spot in the semifinal round for the fourth consecutive season and finished 16-13 overall. They lose their top two players in right side Jamie Albrecht and middle blocker Letisha Perez to graduation with holes to fill as a young class develops alongside eight rising sophomores, seven rising juniors and a lone senior in Mirella Valluzzi.

The 14 returners will be joined by two incoming freshmen who will add depth to SUNY New Paltz's front row and will help push the young group that looks to add one last SUNYAC title before entering the NJAC in 2026.
