Syracuse, NY — The State University of New York Athletic Conference announced its weekly winners Monday morning with Hawks senior forward
Brooke Kelleher earning her second career Offensive Player of the Week nod.
Kelleher, from Smithtown, NY, collected her first SUNYAC weekly honor since her freshman season in 2022 where she later was named SUNYAC Rookie of the Year.
Kelleher has been one of the catalysts in the Hawks offense throughout the early part of the team's 2025 campaign, adding six points thus far. This past week, she proved to be the x-factor in a 1-1 tie against Montclair and 5-0 rout of King's College.
On the road against the Red Hawks, Kelleher got behind a good Montclair defensive line several times, most importantly during the first half where she played a ball back to
Kennedy Jones for the assist in an eventual 1-1 tie Thursday night after playing a full 90 minutes. She then did whatever she wanted against the Monarch's Saturday at home, playing dangerous balls across throughout the 5-0 rout and tallied an assist on the game-winning goal just seven minutes in before later adding her second goal of the season in the 53rd minute on an unassisted score, breaking through the Monarch's defense to push the Hawks' lead to 3-0.
Overall, Kelleher totaled a goal and two assists for four points on the week with three shots, two on goal.
SUNY New Paltz women's soccer is back in action Wednesday night to face Farmingdale State at 7 p.m.
