New Paltz, NY— The State University of New York at New Paltz fell 6-1 too soon to be conference opponent The College of New Jersey on Saturday.

Patrycja Filonik winning at #3 singles."
Doubles: Alex Krol and
Justine Stanejko played first doubles falling in their match 6-2.
Patrycja Filonik and
Olivia Kunz played second doubles and fell in a close 6-4.
Nina Genzone and
Angelica Gabriel also lost 6-4.
Singles: Stanejko played first singles losing both sets 6-0.
Sydney Sladicka played second singles falling 6-2 in the first set and battling in the second but coming up short with a 7-5 second set.
Filonik played third singles win her match in three sets. She won the first set 6-1, fell in the second 7(7)-6(3) and then won the third 1(10)-0(7). Krol played fourth singles falling 6-1 and then 6-0. Gabriel fell in her match 6-1 and 6- as well. Kunz played sixth singles falling 6-2 in both sets.
The Hawks head to Poughkeepsie, NY to play Vassar College Sunday at noon.
