Rochester, NY— The State University of New York at New Paltz fell 5-2 too the Rochester Institute of Technology Saturday afternoon.
"In a highly contest match against Liberty League opponents RIT the match came down to the two remaining matches on court" says coach
Rob Bruley. "The highlight of our doubles match was at #3 doubles where Genzone & Gabriel continued their winning streak with a 7-5 win. With Krol winning at #3 singles and Gabriel winning at #4 singles the match was finely balanced. Unfortunately, we needed both remaining matches. Genzone lost a tight match at #6 singles in a 3rd set tiebreaker. RIT went on to win the match 5-2 in one of our best team performances of the season."
