SUNY New Paltz Athletics

2021: Appeared in seven matches, starting four, and played 14 sets… registered 23 points and 20 kills... 42 total attempts were seventh on the team despite playing only 14 sets… season-high nine points, nine kills and three blocks came March 24 vs. Vassar… 15 of 20 kills came in two matches (9 on March 24 vs. Vassar, 6 on April 9 vs. Nazareth)... recorded six kills April 9 vs. Nazareth... earned a spot on the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor-Roll and the UVC All-Academic list.

2020: Played in five matches, totaling seven sets… recorded 12 kills and 13 points with a hitting percentage of  .417… enjoyed career-high seven kills Feb. 26 against Bard College.

2019: Appeared in 10 matches and 13 sets... Totaled 9 points, 5 kills, 4 service aces and 5 digs for the season... Played big minutes against Northern Vermont-Joh where he recorded 2 kills and 4 aces to give him a career-high 6 points... Earned a spot on the SUNYAC Commissioner's Honor Roll

2018: Played in seven sets, starting one match while appearing in four...had four kills (0.57 per set)...tallied two kills on Feb. 18 against Bard College.

High School Accolades: NYC PSAL 'Wingate Award" as outstanding boys volleyball player in New York City (2017), NYC Impact MVP (2017).

Personal: From Woodside, NY... graduated from the Academy of American Studies in 2017...played club volleyball for NYC Impact... son of Lhamo Tsering and Tashi Gyaltsen.
