SUNY New Paltz Athletics

2021-2022: Saw action in 11 games...totaled 47 minutes, averaging 4.3 minutes per game...scored seven points, while shooting two for nine (22.2%) and one of six (16.7%) from 3-point range...added four assists...one steal...had three points against Geneseo on January 22...two rebounds against Willima Patterson on December 30...one assist and one steal against Oswego on February 25… named to the 2022 SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll… earned a spot on the Hawks Academic Honor Roll for the fall 2021 semester.

High School Accolades: North Shore High School Football Outstanding Athlete of the Year, Jay Fiedler Top Scholar Athlete Award recipient, Nassau County Conference IV Player of the Year, Newsday All-Long Island First Team, Team captain and MVP, All-County and Academic All-Conference (2021)... 2021 basketball team captain, MVP and All-Nassau League… All-County, MVP and NYSPHSAA Top Scholar Athlete (2020).  

Personal: From Glen Head, NY… graduated from North Shore Senior High School in 2021… father, Phil, played college football at the University of New Haven from 1987-1989, and mother, Klayre, competed in track and field at the University College Dublin (Ireland) from 1992-1993… enjoys amusement parks, water parks, boating, movies, personal training, travel and playing XBox… son of Phil and Klayre La Rosa. 

Fun Fact: “I placed in the top 50 in the US playing NBA 2K.”
