Jhason Clark will begin his first season as an assistant coach on the men’s basketball team in 2018-19. 

Clark has been around the game of basketball for years. Most recently, Coach Clark has coached the nationally elite AAU program 17U Albany City Rocks Basketball program since 2011.  

Clark has coached thee Albany Lady Stars AAU in Albany, NY as well as four years 17U & 15U girls basketball.

Clark has also coach at the Hoop Group showcases as well as coaching high school basketball in Massachusetts.

Before he became a coach, Clark was a polarizing athlete on the court. He started his career at Shaker High School in the Capital Region before moving on to Schenectady Community College, where he was named a Junior College All-Star, and was the runner-up at the National Junior College Athletic Association dunk contest. After his stint at Schenectady, Clark transferred to Vermont Tech, while there, they were ranked number #1 in then nation for the United States Collegiate Athletic Association, Division II. He helped lead Vermont Tech to a conference championship and the USCAA Final Four as well.

After college, Clark played professionally, averaging over twenty points for the Tigers Voladores in El Salvador, before moving on to the American Basketball Association, British Basketball League, and a stint with the Harlem Globetrotters travel team.
