SUNY New Paltz Athletics

2021: Named First Team All-SUNYAC... started seven of seven games... led team and conference in innings pitched (45.1 & 39.1) and strikeouts (53 & 48)... gave up 39 hits, 19 earned runs for a 3.77 ERA and a 3-3 record... pitched two complete games... struck-out 10 twice, April 27 at Plattsburgh and May 1 at Oneonta... earned a spot on the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor-Roll.

2020: Started one game in a no-decision, tossing four innings, while giving up five hits, two earned runs and four walks with three strikeouts for an ERA of 4.50 and a WHIP of 1.75... earned a spot on the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor-Roll. (season shortened to just four games due to COVID-19).

2019: Appeared in 9 games, starting 7... Pitched 25 innings with a 2-5 record... Recorded 16 total strikeouts... Pitched 4.1 innings on March 30 against Oswego State where he recorded 4 strikeouts

2018: Appeared in ten games, pitching in eight and making four starts in 24 2/3 innings of work…Pitched to a 4.74 ERA and a 3-2 record…On March 28 against St. Joseph’s Brooklyn, he threw one perfect inning, striking out the side

2017: Appeared in nine games on the mound, earning one start… Tossed 12 1/3 innings, striking out 12… Finished 1-0 with a 6.57 ERA…Struck out four at Lehman on May 2… Played in 19 games as an infielder, earning nine starts… Fashioned four hits, four runs and five RBI.

High School Accolades: Team MVP (2016)...All State (2016)...Section IX 1st team (2016)...Varsity 845 1st team (2016)...All Hudson Valley 2nd team (2015)...Led Monroe Woodbury to OCIAA Division I championship (2016)
 
Personal: From Monroe, NY… Graduated from Monroe-Woodbury High School in 2016… enjoys working out, boating, getting tattoos and playing video games... member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee... son of Anthony and Tina Amoroso.
