Colarusso begins his first year at SUNY New Paltz as the men’s lacrosse assistant coach for the program’s inaugural season. He will be working closely with the goalies and defensive coordination.
Colarusso is a graduate of the University at Albany, acquiring a bachelor’s degree in communications and minored in business and sociology. He was a standout goalkeeper during his 2017 and 2018 seasons, leading the team to their deepest NCAA run, earning Goalkeeper of the Year honors and a First-Team All-American selection. Since graduation, he has been traveling the country honing in on his coaching skills at various lacrosse camps, as well as working for Smoking J’s BBQ.
Colarusso is from Poughquag, N.Y. and attended Arlington High School, graduating in 2014.
