Struzzieri joined the Hawks men’s lacrosse coaching staff since its inception as a volunteer coach before getting promoted to Defensive Coordinator, lead assistant for coach Dylan Neisler’s staff entering the 2024 season. He concluded his fifth season with the program following the 2024 program.
Struzzieri has nearly 10 years of coaching experience and has worked primarily with SUNY New Paltz’s faceoff specialist for the past five years. He coached the Hawks first ever All-SUNYAC selection in FOGO Matt Brignati who finished as the second-best faceoff man in the conference in 2023 and since 2020, Struzzieri hasn't had a lead faceoff specialist average less than 50 percent under his tutelage in four of his five seasons with the program.
Struzzieri has coached for Reign Lacrosse and New Paltz High School prior to his time at SUNY New Paltz. He resides in Highland, NY with his wife Trish.
