SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Scott Zobre will enter his sixth season as the assistants men’s soccer coach at SUNY New Paltz in 2023.

Zobre graduated from Binghamton University after playing for the Bearcats men’s soccer team for four years. He captured a second team All-Conference selection in 2009, while also earning two All-Academic team nods. He continued his playing career after making the Kingston Stockade roster in 2016 for the Division 4 U.S Soccer Pyramid.

Zobre began his coaching career in 2011, earning a spot the Hartwick College men's soccer staff. He then went back to his alma mater and coached Poughkeepsie's JV soccer program for a year before being promoted as the varsity coach, a role he held for three years, before getting the Hawks job.

Zobre is a speed and agility coach for Soccer Plus Academy in the Hudson Valley and has worked as a personal trainer at Gold's Gym. Additionally, he holds a U.S Soccer Federation Level E coaching license and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Level 1 goalkeeping diploma.
