2023: Named AVCA All North Region…All-UVC Honorable Mention…Started in 23 out of 27 matches played in, appearing in 105 sets which is 2nd most on the team…tallied 121.5 points and 76 kills, averaging 1.16 PTS/S and .72 K/S…led the team with 981 assists, averaging 9.34 A/S…2nd on the team with 134 digs, averaging 1.28 digs/set…had a career high in assists with 55 against St. John Fisher on March 25…had a career high 18 digs against Benedictine (IL) on January 19…earned a spot on the Hawks Academic Honor Roll for the fall 2022 and spring 2023 semesters...named to the UVC All-Academic Team.

2022: Named Second-Team All-UVC... played in 25 matches of which he started 21, totaled 89 sets... tallied 64 kills... led the team in assists with 676, for an average of 7.6 assists per set... had a season high of 47 assists against MIT on Feb. 19… named to the 2022 SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.

High School Accolades: Three-time All County at Smithtown-East High School… two-time All County Tournament Team... twice named as a Preseason Top 25 Player… Smithtown Booster Club Scholarship Winner (2018)… First Team All-Long Island (2017)… two-time League Champion.

Personal: From Smithtown, NY… graduated from Smithtown-East High School in 2018… previously attended and played volleyball at Lewis University (2018-2019), where he was named to the MIVA All-Academic Team… is a member of the AMA (American Marketing Association)... both parents, Lisa and Michele, played college soccer at Stony Brook University… Lisa went on to play professionally for the Long Island Rough Riders… sister, Karlie, playing for Buffalo State women’s volleyball in 2022… son of Lisa and Michele Shaffer.
