2019: Named to First-Team All-UVC... Recognized as an AVCA First-Team All-American... Named UVC Tournament MVP... Recipient of the Floyd Patterson Award... Played in 32 matches, compiling 118 sets... Led the team in points and kills, 490 (4.15 per set) and 421 (3.57 per set) respectively... Also led the team in service aces with 39... Contributed 27 assists... Defensively put up 155 digs (1.31 per set ) and 45 blocks... Finishes as only student-athlete in New Paltz history to be a 2x National Champion

2018: Named to the UVC First-Team All-Conference...was given the Andrew Cassius Award...started each of the 25 matches he player, appearing in 88 sets...led team in kills and kills per set with 319 total and 3.63 per set...also led the team in service aces with 28...tallied 24 digs and five blocks as well...set the Hawks single-game kills record for a four-set match with 30 on Feb. 24 against St. Josephs (LI), leading to him being named both the AVCA and UVC Player of the Week for that week.

2017: Started two of the 34 matches he played, appearing in 81 sets… Stands second on the team with 1.27 assists per set with a total of 103… Registered a total of 51 kills and 38 digs… Produced 10 kills, four digs and three service aces against Penn State Behrend on Feb. 11.

2016: Started in two of the 11 matches in which he played... Appeared in 14 sets... Averaged 0.50 kills per set (seven total), 3.21 assists per set (45 total), 0.36 service aces per set (five total), 0.57 digs per set (eight total), and 0.43 blocks per set (six total)... Floored four kills, three service aces and produced two digs at Bard on Feb. 17. 

High School Accolades: All-Long Island (2014), 3x All-County selection (2012-2014), Team MVP (2014). 
 
Personal: From Massapequa, NY… graduated from Massapequa High School in 2015…brothers Brian '14 and Christian '16 starred on the New Paltz men's volleyball team... sister, Jamie, played Division I volleyball at Iona College... enjoys listening to music, playing beach volleyball, playing basketball and loves Kobe Bryan and his Mamba mentality... son of Debbie and Patrick Smith.
