2014-15: SUNYAC All-Academic Team member… Clocked season-best times in the 200 freestyle (2:04.10), the 100 backstroke (1:04.78) and the 200 backstroke (2:22.99) at the NYU Fall Invitational.

Prior to NP: 2014 graduate of Farmingdale High School.

Personal: Son of Lawrence and Joanne Mattei.
