Lara Keenan enters her second season as the lead assistant coach for the women’s lacrosse team at SUNY New Paltz ahead of the 2024 season.
During her first season with the Hawks in 2023, she helped coach Randy Vite to a 9-7 overall record, the most wins in program history, along with the team's first ever back-to-back playoff appearance and highest seed in program history.
Keenan previously starred for four seasons at Manhattanville College where she was a two-time First-Team All-Skyline selection and led her team in goals and points three of four seasons. She finished her career with 131 goals, 28 assists and 214 draw controls while never missing a game throughout her career, appearing in 38 games with 37 starts.
The Montgomery, NY native previously coached at Valley Central Middle School and at Tri-State Lacrosse Club and is currently a head coach at Beast Girl’s Lacrosse Club.
