Fisher averaged 10.5 points per game, six rebounds per game and four steals per game in a 1-1 week for the Hawk women’s basketball team. She scored six points off 3-of-5 shooting from the floor and collected six steals in a 62-51 loss to Buffalo State on Friday night. Fisher helped the team bounce back the following afternoon against SUNY Fredonia, draining 15 points off 6-of-15 shooting and grabbing nine boards to lead the Hawks to a 61-47 victory. On the year, she leads the team in field-goal percentage (.507) and averages 9.4 points per game. New Paltz (10-8, 8-3 SUNYAC) hosts SUNY Potsdam on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 6 p.m. in league action.
