SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Freshman Stephanie Vega led the Hawks to a 2-0-1 record this week in net. She has posted three straight shutouts and has four on the season. She made two saves in the Vassar game in the 1-0 victory for the Hawks. In the Wellesley College Tournament, she played 210 minutes and did not allow a goal. She made a career high 11 saves in the 2-0 win over Salem State and eight saves in the championship game against Wellesley College.
