Gorski ran an 8K time of 27:20 at the Brooks Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Friday, placing 26th out of 322 runners in the White Division. That standard proved to be a season-best for Gorski, who is the fourth Hawk to earn the title of top New Paltz male finisher this year. As a team, the Hawks placed 10th out of 36 squads. New Paltz returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Saratoga Invitational.
