Vasquez turned in a 24th-place time of 26:01.0 at the 2013 SUNYAC Cross Country Championships hosted by SUNY Oneonta Saturday at Fortin Park, helping lead the Hawks to a fifth-place finish in the team standings. It marked New Paltz’s best finish at the conference meet since 2002. The Hawks now turn their attention to the 2013 NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional Championships hosted by SUNY Geneseo, which occurs on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Letchworth State Park.
