On Tuesday against No. 14 Baruch College, Husmann had a .471 hitting performance to go along with nine kills, three digs and two block assists in the Hawks' 3-0 win over the Bearcats. On Friday versus The Sage Colleges, he fashioned a .583 hitting percentage with a match-high 16 kills in the team's 3-0 victory. He also had three digs and one block assist against the Gators. For the season, he ranks sixth in the UVC in hitting percentage (.364) and is averaging 2.69 kills per set, 0.82 digs per set, 0.70 blocks per set and 0.20 service aces per set. New Paltz (23-3, 8-2 UVC), which is ranked at No. 3 in NCAA Division III according to the AVCA's national poll, finishes out its regular-season slate at home on Wednesday, April 9, against New Jersey City University at 7 p.m.
