Korn ran a personal-best 26:59 in the 8K in the Brown Division race of the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Friday. Korn, who dropped more than a minute off his previous personal best, averaged a 5:26 mile during the race and placed 226th out of 353 runners. Korn was the fourth Hawk runner to cross the finish line, helping the team secure a 31st-place finish out of 39 teams. New Paltz nexts competes at the Rowan Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 2:45 p.m. in Glassboro, N.J.
