She hit 3-for-3 with four RBI, one home run, one double and one run scored in New Paltz's 8-5 victory over SUNY Plattsburgh in the front end of the team's SUNYAC-opening doubleheader on Friday before going 1-for-4 with an RBI in an 11-6 loss in the nightcap. On the season, DeCosta is slugging .417 with a .292 batting average, and she leads the team in RBI (11). New Paltz (8-8, 1-1 SUNYAC) next visits Brooklyn College on Wednesday, April 13, for a 5 p.m. doubleheader.
