SUNY New Paltz Athletics

Freshman right handed pitcher Chris Chismar helped preserve the win over Brockport when he came in with two outs in the seventh inning and the bases loaded.  He was able to strike out the next batter and would strike out four of the next six hitters he faced for his first collegiate save. 

Earlier in the week, he struck out five in two innings against the College of Staten Island.  On the season, Chismar has struck out 18 batters in 14 innings pitched.
