Lacrosse Falls To Oneonta

NEW PALTZ, NY- The New Paltz women's lacrosse team fell to the Oneonta Red Dragons Tuesday afternoon by a score of 18-10.  New Paltz falls to 2-8 overall and 0-5 in SUNYAC play.  Oneonta improves to 8-4 overall and 2-3 in the league. 

The Hawks came out aggressively right off the bat against the Red Dragons.  Sophomore Samantha DelGaudio proved that by scoring three goals and adding one assist.  Brittany Bennett scored two goals and collected two assists.  Erin Tornatore and Julianne Rehain each scored two goals a piece.  Brittany Hunt added one goal and one assist on the afternoon.

Julia Donato picked up three groundballs, while Bennett picked up three as well. 

Margaret DeLauter recorded the loss in net, allowing 18 goals and saving 12 in 60 minutes of play. 

Annelise Muscietta earns the win in net for the Red Dragons, allowing 10 goals and saving nine.

The Hawks return to action Thursday when they host Bard, game-time is set for 4:30 pm.
