CORTLAND, NY- The New Paltz women's lacrosse team fell to nationally ranked #9 Cortland this evening by the score of 20-3.  The Hawks fall to 3-9 overall and 0-6 in the SUNYAC while Cortland improves to 13-2 overall and 8-0 in the SUNYAC.

Julianne Rehain led the Hawks with two goals and Erin Tornatore added one goal on the evening.  Tornatore also added four groundballs and Julia Donato had three.  Rehain was 1-for-1 on free position shots.

Margaret DeLauter recorded the loss in net, allowing 20 goals and saving 14 on the day.
