GENESEO, NY- The New Paltz women's lacrosse team fell to the Blue Knights of Geneseo by the score of 20-3 Saturday afternoon to fall to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in the SUNYAC.  Geneseo improves to 4-3 overall and 2-0 in the SUNYAC.  The Hawks return to action Friday, April 9th at home against Buffalo State at 4 p.m. on the Turf Field.

Courtney Neenan scored late in the first half for her first goal of the year.  Bridgitte Hooker scored her seventh of the year with 15:24 remaining on the clock and Brittany Hunt followed five minutes later with her fifth goal of the year.

#Margaret DeLauter recorded the loss in net, allowing 13 goals and saving eight shots in 40:38 minutes of play.  Stefanie Mignone played 19:22 minutes and allowed seven goals while saving six for the Hawks.
