Oliva Pitches Hawks into SUNYAC's

POTSDAM, NY- Alyssa Oliva picked up two wins today to wrap-up the regular season for the Hawks and propel the Hawks into the SUNYAC Tournament held at Cortland.  The Hawks finish the regular season at 20-16 overall and 10-8 in the SUNYAC.

Alyssa Oliva pitched a complete game one hitter with four strikeouts in 11-0 (5 innings) game one win for the Hawks.  She then came in the second game to pitch the final three and two thirds and allowed two hits while striking out two for her 10th win of the season.

In game one, Victoria Kyle was 2-for-3 with one run and Rose Dovi was 2-for-3 with two runs and three RBI, including her third home run of the year.  Melyssa Cilmi was 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI and Samantha Barra was 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

In the nightcap, Elizabeth May went 3-for-3 with one run and two RBI and Cilmi was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.  Melissa Liotta finished 2-for-4 with one run and two RBI.

The Hawks open the SUNYAC Tournament as the #6 seed on Friday at Cortland, game time is TBA.
