NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – After a 25-20 first set, it appeared as though visiting Hunter College (6-7, 5-0 CUNYAC) was going to challenge the State University of New York at New Paltz women's volleyball team's (15-4, 4-0 SUNYAC) nine-match overall win streak and 30-match home win streak on Wednesday evening in the Hawk Center. The hosts, however, pulled out the final two sets without much issue, giving New Paltz significant momentum heading into this weekend's matches.

The blue and orange allowed Hunter to hang around toward the end of the first stanza, as the visiting Hawks battled throughout the entirety of the set. New Paltz, however, would regroup, claiming the second set, 25-10, and the third game, 25-13.
