The 18th-ranked Red Dragons cruised past the Hawks in straight sets, earning 27 points during the match off New Paltz attacking errors. DiGiovanna's 15 kills and .278 hitting percentage keyed the offense, as did King's 16 assists. For Cortland, Sheena Asibey and Kaitlyn Cooper steered the attack with 11 and 10 kills, respectively, while Kristen Guercio dished out a match-high 32 assists.
