NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – Due to a presidential inauguration at the State University of New York at New Paltz on Friday, April 13, those who are visiting campus for the 3 p.m. softball doubleheader against Buffalo State that afternoon are advised to take an alternate route that ends at the west entrance to campus.
After getting off the New York State Thruway, make a left onto New York Route 299. At the light by the Sunoco, take a left onto S. Putt Corners Road. Take S. Putt Corners until the road ends, and make a left on New York Route 32. Make a quick right on Jansen Road at the light, and you will travel on Jansen Road until it intersects with New York Route 208. Make a right onto Route 208, and travel 0.8 miles before taking a right into the campus' West Entrance. Take that entrance road all the way until it hits a dead end, and then take a left. Once you get to the first stop sign, go straight, then at the second stop sign, take a left. Park in the lot all the way at the bottom by the baseball field, and you can access the softball field by a path that travels behind the right-field line of the baseball field.
