Box Score CORTLAND, N.Y. – No. 2 nationally ranked SUNY Cortland remained undefeated with a 22-5 victory over the State University of New York at New Paltz women's lacrosse team in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action on Saturday afternoon.
In victory, the Red Dragons saw 12 different players score goals, led by three goal efforts from senior attack Taylor Reh and sophomore midfielder Elizabeth LaComb. New Paltz got two goals each from junior midfielder Lianne Valdivida and junior attack

With the loss, the Hawks drop to 4-7, 1-5 SUNYAC. Cortland improves to an impressive 14-0, 6-0 SUNYAC. New Paltz will next host two consecutive home conference games to close out the regular season, first facing Oswego on Tuesday, April 22, at 3 p.m., before facing Geneseo on Saturday April 26, at 1 p.m. The Red Dragons next will host Salisbury on Sunday, April 20 for a 12 p.m. game.
Cortland jumped out to a 9-1 lead and held a 13-2 advantage at halftime. The Red Dragons kept the offensive pressure on in the second half, outscoring the Hawks 9-3.
