Box Score NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – A strong No. 10 nationally-ranked SUNY Geneseo team head to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) playoffs, defeated the State University of New York at New Paltz women's lacrosse team, 18-3, in the season finale for the Hawks at the Turf Field on Saturday afternoon.
Geneseo held a 10-3 lead at halftime and scored eight unanswered goals in the second half. The final score was not indicative of a solid goal in game for New Paltz junior
Jackie Ulanoff (Northport, N.Y./Northport), who faced 42 Geneseo shots and made 13 saves in the contest.
The loss ends the 2014 season for New Paltz with a 4-9, 1-7 SUNYAC record. The Knights improve to an impressive 15-1, 7-1 on the season and will next compete in the conference championships that begin on April 29.
