NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – After winning the 12th-annual Hawks Invitational over the weekend, the State University of New York at New Paltz women's volleyball team hosts the Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m., the first home dual match for the Hawks this season.
RECORDS: Riding a nine-match winning streak, the Hawks enter Wednesday at 10-2 overall, as New Paltz won its first Hawk Invitational title since 2010 and its eighth ever... The Ducks are sitting at 8-2, winning eight of their last nine matches.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS (10-2): The Hawks went 4-0 last weekend at home, defeating SUNY Fredonia, Mount Saint Mary College, Fairleigh Dickinson University-College at Florham and New York University to claim the Hawk Invitational title, their eighth title in the 12 years of the event...
